Certains parlent \u00e9galement de Pleine Pr\u00e9sence ou de Pr\u00e9sence Attentive. Tous ces termes sont utilis\u00e9s pour parler de ces pratiques m\u00e9ditatives formelles et informelles cr\u00e9\u00e9e par Jon Kabat-Zinn, docteur en biologie mol\u00e9culaire. Ce dernier, pratiquant en yoga et m\u00e9ditation a adapt\u00e9 les pratiques m\u00e9ditatives traditionnelles bouddhistes pour nos esprits occidentaux via un protocole bien pr\u00e9cis le MBSR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Puis, d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 2000, un groupe de chercheurs et psychologues, Zindel Segal de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Toronto, Mark Williams de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 d\u2019Oxford ainsi que John Teasdale de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 d\u2019Oxford et de Cambridge, modifie ce protocole afin de l\u2019adapter \u00e0 la pr\u00e9vention des rechutes d\u00e9pressives, le protocole MBCT voit le jour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En effet, apr\u00e8s un premier \u00e9pisode d\u00e9pressif, au moins 50% des personnes concern\u00e9es conna\u00eetront au minimum un second \u00e9pisode d\u00e9pressif. De plus, les personnes ayant rencontr\u00e9 deux \u00e9pisodes ou plus ont 70 \u00e0 80% de risques de r\u00e9cidives ult\u00e9rieures.
